 Suzanne's recommended books on Grief

A GREAT book on grief by Therese Rando.  This is one of our favorite resources on the grief process.  We highly recommend this book.  We discuss her approach to grief in our podcast number 12 - Grief Myths.

A powerful book on suicide by Iris Bolton, the founder and director of The Link Counseling Center in Atlanta, Ga.  Iris Bolton graduated from Columbia University New York, attended Georgia State University School of Community Counseling, and holds a master's degree from Emory University Atlanta with a major in Suicidology.

There are many versions of this series of books.  Some are for children, parents, teens, and more...

Books on Depth Psychology and C.G. Jung

I reference this book all the time.  It is written in almost an outline format.  It is very structured in its layout.  It clearly shows the structure of Jung's theories.  After reading this book, I was able to pigeon hole the different concepts I had been reading about in other books.  This book helped me get the bigger picture - not necessarily the big picture, just a bigger picture.  I have a 1973 copy.  There is a 1999 version also.  Robin

Our favorite books by C.G. Jung

Our Favorite books by Robert A. Johnson
Mentioned in Podcast #29 A really great book that we have two copies of - one to always have on hand if we loan the other out.
Our Favorite books by James Hollis
James Hollis' book as described in Podcast 11 A book that's really about men and men's issues.  A straight forward read, but much tougher when used as a work book. I tried to reflect on each chapter with Hollis' thought in mind from page 29, "what we do not know, controls us." Working from there, each turn of the page helped me take a closer look at myself.
