Suzanne’s Surgery

Lots has been happening in the Maiden household.  Suzanne had another tumor discovered in her latest CAT scan.  She is going to have surgery on Wednesday.  This time it feels very different than before.  Last time, I, Robin, went into hyper mode and did all the things I’ve been trained to do in a crisis.  I assembled a team, gathered data, brainstormed options, picked the best solution, and finally executed on that plan.

This time is different.  There is only so much we can do.  We have to wait for the next trigger event.  We’ve done all the research.  We have the team.  We know the plan.  We are executing on it.  There is nothing to do until the next event.  Pray, appreciate, be thankful.  Wait.

For those that don’t know,  Suzanne had a hemangiopericytoma, the size of my fist, removed from her lower back/abdoman about eight years ago.  I’m not trying to be dramatic, but it was a huge deal.

Please keep Suzanne in your thoughts and consider sending her an email at zanny@zannygrace.com.  I know she would appreciate it, immensely.  I will too.
